In an attempt to lift myself out of the depression that lack of sunshine and a real grown up job has plunged me into, I am trying to organise an informal Tribewanted gathering at my flat in Edinburgh on 15/16 November. It would just be a chance to hang out, go for walks round the city, perhaps even try to relive the 4 Peak Meke on Arthurs Seat (though cold remember-gloves, scarves and hats required).I haven’t seen anyone I was on the island with since I left so reminiscing would be the order of the day, as well as lots of eating (we have an Aga, which blatantly should be able to cope with food for a small army). I’m afraid I don’t have spare beds but I can offer lots of floorspace for sleeping bags to spread out on.
Hopefully this should be enough warning for those of you not lucky enough to be situated North of the Border to book train tickets/clear your calender! Let me know if you can make it-the more the merrier (and I have it on good authority that Team Scotland have definately cleared their calender already! Team Newcastle, you KNOW you want to make an appearance!)

Hey – great news! I’ve recently returned to Edinburgh so can also offer floor/sofa space to anyone making the treak!
Bula Mele, a great idea – it would be awesome to come but alas Brisbane is a bit to far to make it for that weekend. Have fun though and enjoy your meke.
